Field Trips!

There are a wide range of birding adventures every season. Some are a few hours, while others are day trips, and on occasion there are overnight trips to destinations much further outside of Manatee County. You can see the complete list of birding adventures below or on our digital calendar. Due to COVID-19 all trips require advance sign ups, please RSVP with the field trip leader next to each field trip listed below.

Remember, some trips have costs such as road / bridge tolls, park entrance fees, tram ride fees, overnight lodging, meals, etc.. IF you are carpooling, please be considerate & offer your driver funds to assist with cost of gas, mileage, tolls, etc.. Please come prepared with appropriate clothing, equipment, food, and water as you see fit.

Each of these field trips are lead by birding experts that want to help you get closer to the world of birds! The safety of you and our field trip leaders is of the utmost importance to us! Due to COVID-19 all government rules and regulations apply to these field trips, in addition the field trip leader has the right to make requirements or cancel a field trip at any time. As such please confirm with your field trip leader all requirements before hand, and confirm that the field trip is still occurring at least one week in advance.
