Note the time change - From 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. (Annual potluck begins at 6:30 p.m.)
At the First United Methodist Church of Palmetto located at 330 11th Avenue West in Palmetto.

February 16, 2012 - The Making of an Environmental Park

George Tatgue from the Sarasota Environmental Department will discuss how he worked with the environmental community in the creation of an environmental park.

March 15, 2012 - Nesting Ospreys

Bob Montanaro of Pelican Island Sanctuary will use his photography to give us an intimate look at nesting Ospreys from the beginning of the nesting season until its end.

April 19, 2012 - Annual Potluck and Installation of Officers

Meeting begins at 6 p.m., an hour early, for annual potluck supper and brief review of the year. Bring a dish to share and your own plate, cup and utensils.

Photographer Ron Mayberry will show us pictures of Loons and Atlantic Puffins from his recent visit to Maine.

Bob Flatt will talk about the bald eagle and his long study of them.

December 15, 2011 - Celery Fields Past and Present

Jeanne Dubi will provide us with the latest information on this prime birding spot and its recent wetlands restoration and plans for the future.

Suzi Fox of AMI Turtle Watch will discuss Flippers and Feathers
