Although Felts Audubon Preserve is not open to the public daily, we have
recurring and special events as detailed below. You can also contact
us to make an appointment to see the preserve.
Monthly Open House
When - The first Saturday of each month.
From - 8:00 a.m. until noon
Cost - Free!
Facilities - Port-o-lets
Activities - Watching wildlife, hiking, and photography.
Bring - Binoculars, field guides, hat, water, and sunscreen.
Notes - Check the Night Heron newsletter or the web site for last minute changes.
Guided Nature Walk
When - The first Saturday of each month from November through April..
From - 9:30 a.m. until approximately 11:00 a.m.
Cost - Free!
Facilities - Port-o-lets
Activities - Watching wildlife, hiking, and photography.
Bring - Binoculars, field guides, hat, water, and sunscreen.

Volunteer/Project Days
When - The last Saturday of each month from September through April.
From - 8:00 a.m. until noon (or earlier)
Facilities - Port-o-lets
Activities - Restore habitat, manage invasives, maintain bird feeders,
ensure footpaths are accessible, perform maintenance on outbuildings, etc.
Bring - Hat, water, and sunscreen.
