Beach-nesting Birds

Historically, MCAS has had little active involvement in the ongoing protection and monitoring our beach-nesting birds. Thanks to a grant from TogetherGreen,  we are learning more about the birds and are gradually implementing a beach-nesting bird monitoring program.  We are starting small - with one volunteer and one section of a beach at a time.

• Bird stewards for holiday weekends.
